POP3 Email Print E-mail

POP3 is one half of the email puzzle, SMTP is the other. POP3 is the protocol, or "language", that's used to download your email from Remotecube's Email Server to your mail program. SMTP is the protocol used to send mail.

To configure a POP account you need three pieces of information:

  • The name of your mail server that holds your email. Typically it's something like "mail.yourdomain.com".
  • The name of the account you were assigned by Remotecube.
  • The password to your account.

Remotecube's POP3 accounts are hosted off a Linux Server and provide a reliable method of receiving and managing your email for non-critical requirements. If you rely on your email for business and require bulletproof, fully featured email service take a look at our Hosted Exchange Email

Remotecube includes10 - POP3 email accounts with any Website Hosting Package. Additional POP3 accounts are available for $15.00 each per year.
